An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our dynamic Speech & Language Therapy Team within the Paediatric Special Needs Service. This band 6 role will be responsible for providing services to children with complex needs and work within a multidisciplinary team setting. Dysphagia competencies are preferable but not essential.The base for this post will be Nevill Hall Children’s Centre in Abergavenny. You will work closely with colleagues who work in our other Children’s Centre’s in Newport and Caerphilly.Applicants should be innovative & enthusiastic, be particularly interested in supporting evidence based practice and committed to delivering services to children with complex needs and their families. We are looking for a therapist who can support the progression of initiatives within the department.Clinical supervision and in-service training is to all staff provided. We offer peer support and regular team meetings. Aneurin Bevan University Health Board SLT department offers an immediate network of 90 therapists and assistants.
