Head of Finance - Specialist Care Provider Salary - £55,000 - £70,000 DOE Fully Qualified Full Time - Permanent Remit Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading independent Social Care Provider to recruit a Head of Finance based in Llanelli, Wales. Our client is an established family led business and have been an established care provider since 2008.They provide a specialist service to individuals with mild, moderate, severe learning disabilities, with associated complex needs. Following a period of rapid development and continued expansion, they are seeking a Head of Finance to join an award-winningteam. The Head of Finance will take responsibility for the entire finance function whilst driving growth and innovation. The Role The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Director and affords a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of an experienced and dynamic Finance Director within a highly successful organisation. The successful applicant will managethe Finance Department on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the efficient control of Company finances and provision of management and statutory accounts. Supporting the business with appropriate financial information/ analysis. Requirements Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)Extensive senior level accountancy experienceExperience of managing a teamStrong analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reports.Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach and an inherent ability to achieve.IT literate including finance system, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Sage.In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecastingLocation The role is full time on site based In Llanelli, Wales with the potential of going into a more hybrid working environment once the successful candidate is comfortable in the role.
