Job Description

Retail Showroom ManagerThe Opportunity:Top quality, high end, British made, stylish and creative: are these words you would like to use to sell your products Within this companys beautiful showroom, you could achieve those ambitions as pro active, sales orientated and supportive RetailManager. You will offer proven sales and people management skills, ideally within the ceramic tile industry or a similar home interiors environment. The Job Role:

Key holder, responsible for opening and closing the showroom.
Manage costs and overheads, monthly sales margins and targets and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the showroom.
Manage and motivate the staff in a proactive, sales environment whilst also completing appraisals, performance reviews and employee training.
Plan and implement POS, showroom merchandising, layout and customer flow to maximise sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers.
Build and develop showroom displays.
Manage and improve staffs selling and customer service interaction with consumers to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Manage security and health and safety pertaining to staff and customer awareness.

Preferred Skills:

Customer focused with proven experience either within the ceramic tiling industry or a similar interiors environment (ie paint shop, fabrics, home furnishings, or a similarly aesthetic product).
An excellent people manager, able to recruit, train and motivate a top drawer team of sales consultants within a consultative retail showroom environment
Ability to manage a P&L
Computer literate and able to complete reports for management
