We are recruiting a Civil Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Cardiff. Employing over 80 engineering professionals in multiple UK offices, this company has the capacity to work on some of the UKs most prestigious projects, whilemaintaining a people-focussed mindset throughout the business.The successful Civil Engineer will be working on a wide range of development infrastructure projects across the residential, commercial, health, education, and defence sectors. You will be responsible for drainage & highway designs, external works, and floodrisk assessments.Requirements for this Civil Engineer position include;* Knowledge of drainage design, buildings drainage, developing SuDS and SAB approvals* Be capable of highway design* Experience with industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage* The ability to produce reports and liaise effectively with project team members* Flood risk assessment knowledge around development infrastructure projects* Knowledge of building and CDM regulations* Previous experience managing projects, budget control, and liaising with clients would be beneficial.The successful Civil Engineer will be joining a diverse team that works from comfortable and accessible offices in Cardiff - with plenty of parking!
