Job Description

Are you looking for your next nursing role for a fantastic company This could be the next role for you!The companyNurse Seekers are excited to be working for a friendly and homely nursing home located in a lovely town just outside of Dewsbury.The company is family run and strongly established with a good, ongoing reputation in the area. As well as this, the manager has been in place for many years and the home has a low usage of agency staff.They are now looking to add to their already well established and caring team with a fantastic Registered Nurse.The RoleThe role is for a Qualified Nurse to work on either days or nights. The home is rated overall good by the CQC and promotes independence, dignity and quality of life at all times.The aspects of your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Create, implement and evaluate person centred individualised care plans for each of our residents
  • Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
  • Leading, motivating and mentoring the care team to ensure effective deployment and smooth and efficient running of the care home
  • Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisations, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions
  • Liaise with health and social care professionals involved in the well-being of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care
  • Promoting the residents independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care
  • Helping to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming and training new staff, you will be an integral part of the team and the home.
To be considered for this role you must be an NMC Registered Nurse with an up to date PIN number.Requirements
  • NMC PINRGN qualification preferred but other nurse qualifications considered
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1 years post registration experience
  • Flexible time
  • Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a Registered Nurse
