Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for a 6 month contract in a busy production company. The role of a Laboratory Testing Technician is an important part of the production process and requires a quality focussed individual who can think on their feet and can communicate on all levels from the shop floor to management.Duties & Responsibilities:* Testing of raw materials* In-process and finished product testing* Undertaking all test processes: liquid testing, oven testing, weight, thickness, strength and visual testing* Recording of test data on internal systemsElevation Engineering & Manufacturing are keen to speak with the following skills and experience:* Excellent communication skills* Experience of working in a production/manufacturing environment* Responsible decision maker and able to think on your feet* Ability to work on a rotational 12 hour shift basis (days and nights)* Organised, methodical with meticulous attention to detailThis is a great opportunity to join a thriving company on a fixed-term contract basis with the possibility of a permanent position within the organisation.Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
