This employer is seeking a Graphics Installer to assist in the delivery and installation of display graphics projects.The successful applicant will provide safe and quality installations of pasted and self adhesive wall display graphics, with an emphasis on large format wall coverings, in a variety of commercial applications.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Taking briefs from internal colleagues- Ensure tidy and safe installation of display graphics by following detailed drawings provided. Request missing instruction, fixings or drawings are provided before leaving the factory- Eagerness to influence project planning and specification- Acting as a link between clients and the business. Ensure all feedback is delivered to the office/project manager- Understanding of wall preparation and ensuring walls are suitably prepared prior to application and any concerns or defects are reported to the project manager and the matter resolved before graphics are installed- Ensuring that all project and other documents are stored in a neat and orderly manner and returned to the project manager post installation- Offer training and support to trainee and new members of staff- Ensuring timescales are met and any concerns are flagged to the project or department manager as soon as the potential delay is known- Ensure completed works are suitably cleaned and photographed- Ensure delivery notes are signed and defects logged/passed to project manager- Ensure the speedy and accurate distribution of information to colleagues- Ensure you take a proactive and conscientious approach to Health and Safety and all aspects of training provided by the company is adhered to. Be proactive in making improvements- Compliance with the companies risk assessments, including driving, access equipment/working at heights, power tools and public safety- Reporting of department failures and ongoing suggestion to company improvements- Undertaking of surveys in a thorough and tidy manner using official company paperwork/guidelinesPERSONAL SPECIFICATION:Essential:- The ability to communicate at all levels diplomatically and tactfully- Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to maintain accuracy in meeting company deadlines- Ability to work under own initiative and make decisions within the companys guidelines, sometimes without reference to others- Ability to remain composed and all times- Ability to work as part of a team- Ability to deal with difficult situations- To be aware of the companys need for confidentiality Desirable:- Previous experience in a similar roleThe role will be based in Liversedge, however will involve occasional UK wide travel and overnights.
