The Company: My client is a regional IFA firm based in the Huddersfield area who are looking to recruit a Developing Paraplanner to their ever-expanding technical team. With 6 advisers now and 5 admin/paraplanning staff there to support those advisers, they are looking for an industry experienced head to come into a hybrid role taking on technical administration responsibilities as well as bespoke research & suitability report writing. Ultimately the career path on offer here is for someone to develop down an out-and-out paraplanning skill set across the next 12 months, and really embed themselves in a consultative paraplanning support role; which would then set them up to progress into advice medium-term.The Role: The wider remit here focuses across both technical admin support and private wealth biased research/report writing, with that development path short/medium-term down the paraplanning route. The role is paraplanning biased but your time will be split across business processing and administrative support to 2 financial advisers too; but as mentioned more focused towards the paraplanning and technical support workload across investments, pensions, protection and IHT workload in the main.To review, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
