Are you ready for a new challenge Fawkes and Recce are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside a family-owned Groundworks contractor, primarily working in the housing sector.We are seeking to recruit a Groundworks Quantity Surveyor immediately to be either site-based or office based or working from home around the Mersey and Greater Manchester areas with easy access to transport links which shortens the working day. TheIdeal Quantity Surveyor should be enthusiastic and have the ambition to progress in their career. You will be offered responsibility to comfort you, depending in which direction you are looking to lead your career. Your core duties will include, providing support to the Contract Managers in the smooth running of preparing and finalising applications and sourcing and reviewing suitable tender opportunities.The Project!They have tendered and won major groundworks packages this year with some of the housing markets major contractors like Bellway Homes and Redrow. They want to continue the growth of work and build on their commercial team so this individual will be responsibleon responding to tender bids, BoQ and pricing! to drive new and existing business through the doors.The Benefits for you!The package includes a basic salary of £45,000-£55,000 dependant on experience.
