Job Description

Plot Sales ExecutiveLiverpool£30,000 - £40,000An exciting opportunity awaits a Plot Sales Executive within my clients Home Ownership team based in Liverpool. Reporting to the Head of Home Ownership and Conveyancing, the successful candidate will provide legal support, focusing primarily on plot sales,Help-to-Buy, and part exchanges. The team specializes in serving property developers.My client is seeking a candidate with a solid knowledge of property law, especially in relation to new builds and plot sales. Experience as a fee earner or legal assistant in residential conveyancing, specializing in new build property and plot sales or volumeconveyancing, is essential. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate with management, sales, and development teams, along with excellent organizational, communication, technical, and IT skills.

  • Collation and issuance of sales packs, including contracts, title documentation, replies to inquiries, searches, services information, and an estate information sheet.
  • Dealing with prospective plot purchasers solicitors, including responding to inquiries raised in connection with the transaction.
  • Monitoring and achieving exchanges of contracts and completions in accordance with reservation and completion dates.
  • Regular reporting to and liaison with builder clients and supervising solicitor, including written reports.
  • Production of leases, transfers, replies to requisitions, mortgagee releases, etc.
  • Production of bills and completion statements and dealing with all financial transactions.
  • Collection of all bills and clearing off of ledgers.
  • Title investigation and reporting on title in the case of part exchange properties, including carrying out searches, etc.
  • Purchases and sales of part exchange properties.
  • Liaising with clients regarding all matters connected with the plot sale.
  • Dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and registrations with accompanying reservation of priorities at HM Land Registry.
