The role will be based at the global Vitaflo head office which is situated just outside of Liverpool city centre.This is an exciting time to join the team in order to support and streamline the day to day activities of the NPD department.Vitaflo (International) Ltd has been at the forefront of developing innovative specialised clinical nutrition products for metabolic disorders, ketogenic diets, renal disease and disease related malnutrition for over 20 years. We work in partnership withhealthcare professionals, patients and their families, in order to create products that combine the best of cutting-edge research with the lifestyle demands of modern living, ensuring the most acceptable products are available.What can you expectAs the NPD Laboratory Technician, your main responsibilities will consist of the following:

• Management of Laboratory Assistant to achieve together key output of assisting the NPD Team with laboratory based activities
• Manage raw material stock control and support product trials through ordering, preparing and weighing raw materials
• Maintaining laboratory standards including equipment management,cleaning and calibration. Also supporting audits
• Coordinate the shipment of materials where applicable to support NPD Technologists during trials
• Prepare product samples for analysisand laboratory testing of trial products
• Maintain Vdoc system and online Lab Hub for all NPD, including improvements and updates
• Support the Sensory and Research & Development function as reasonably requested

• Experience in a lab environment is essential
• Self-reliant with a high degree of motivation
• Extremely organised with the ability to prioritise workload
• Proficient in IT packages inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Great team player with excellent communication skills
