The exercise of these functions informs the strategic decision making processes of the Force and supports delivery of improved Force performance.Knowledge and ExperienceThe expectation is that an FCR will have passed the College of Policing’s national training course within 12 months of appointment and will thereafter maintain professional accreditation.Must possess an expert knowledge of the National Crime Recording Standard and National Standard for Incident Recording in order to promote consistent, accurate and victim oriented recording of crime and incidents.A thorough understanding of audit processes and experience of implementing audit programmes.
