We are recruiting for cleaning operatives for a busy client based in Liverpool.To ensure high quality provision of cleaning services across the Merseyrail network.Assisting in the smooth operation of the cleaning facilities on a daily basis to the highest ofstandards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deep Clean floors with machines Clean station platforms (Nights) and any handrails Clean toilets Ensure all areas of the station are clean and tidy Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your line manager. Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to established standards. Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting. To comply with COSHH, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment, and any other cleaning requirements. Complete Job Sheets on completion of shiftSkills and Competencies Team player - ability to work within a team where members depend on each otherto get work done. Able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.Work Environment Physical demands include walking and standing, push and pull objects - such ascleaning machines, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
