Job Description

Davies Group are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you’ll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. So, you’ll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empatheticservice and have experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler would manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims including personal injury from inception to settlement.What will your day look like:
  • To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including personal injury from inception to settlement
  • To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
  • To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
  • To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance
  • Interact and communicate with clients
Abilities And Knowledge:
  • Experience of dealing with motor personal injury claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable
  • Experience of the OIC and MOJ portals
  • Pre-litigation experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Negotiation skills
  • Communication skills
  • Organisational skills
