This full-time role involves working with KS1 pupils with challengingbehaviour and autism, utilizing the schools excellent SEN facilities in an inclusive community. Immediate start available with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the SENDCo and class teachers to promote engagement in lessons and the curriculum.
Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis and in smaller group settings.
Assist children with reading, writing, and mathematics.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Desirable: Previous experience working with children in a school environment.
Excellent understanding of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviours, and developmental delays.
Calm demeanour in challenging situations.
Quick thinking and ability to act independently and as part of a team.
Strong behaviour management skills, creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
