Job Description

Our client is seeking a Transport Coordinator to work night shift. Hours of work will be 7pm - 7am, or, 6pm - 6am, 4 days on, 4 days off. If a candidate is looking for different hours on a night shift basis this may be considered. Salary is between £28,000 - £30,000depending on experience.Duties:

The Transport Coordinator will have daily contact with drivers, confirming and monitoring movements
Log arrival times and other data onto Excel
Calculate and log company vehicle mileage
Assist with the daily vehicle planning issuing site maps to drivers
Raise subcontractor requests for breakdowns
Work with the customer to ensure changes to activities are implemented
Liaise with Engineering Team with faults and breakdowns

The candidate will be forward thinking, reliable and a natural communicator. The individual shouldnt be afraid to roll up their sleeves and will be self-motivated.Benefits:

Experience:

Some form of transport, driving, logisticsexperience or knowledge is required
Experience dealing with vehicle breakdowns is advantageous
Good computer skills
