Job DescriptionPosition: Warehouse Team LeaderLocation: Ellesmere PortHours: Monday - Friday 38.75 Hours per week (8.00am-5.00pm)Salary: £26,195 P/ADue to growth and success, my client is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team in Ellesmere Port.If you are currently seeking a new challenge, work within a high achieving team in an excellent environment then this is opportunity for you!About the role:The Warehouse Team Leader position is responsible for the supervision of a team of warehouse personnel to ensure the distribution of a professional incoming goods, storage and dispatch service encompassing both speed and accuracy and ensuring health andsafety are maintained to the highest standard and all operating procedures are adhered to at all times.Duties:

  • Assisting the manager with all aspects of the warehouse
  • Leading and motivating the warehouse team
  • Assist in employee training, development and engagement
  • Measuring performance and coaching where needed
  • Managing inventory levels with the use of in-house systems
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are met
  • Assist with resource planning to maximise efficiency and ensuring operational success
  • Assist in managing the daily work plan
  • Openness and willing to change, strive to improve standards and quality
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • High level of reliability, flexibility, and an excellent team player
  • Proactive and flexible in day-to-day approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be able to complete tasks from start to finish against objectives and tasks set
  • Any other ad hoc duties specified by your Manager
