Our well known, Transport and Logistics client based in Little Hulton, Bolton are looking for a new member of the team.If youre an experienced Administrator looking for a step up, or a current Office Manager looking for a new challenge, this is an opportunity to maximise your skills in this friendly, busy small office environment.The Job...Reporting into the Head Office, youll oversee, manage and implement daily admin tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly. Youll also get involved coordinating meetings, liaising with drivers, plant operatives and customers.Youll be responsible for:- Coordinating and performing all daily related tasks, meetings, and interactions with colleagues and customers- Prioritising and coordinating administrative services for the company relating to supplies, equipment, security and maintenance services.- Overseeing and coordinating administrative procedures and review, evaluate and help implement new procedures as required.- Managing, controlling and maintaining the agencys petty cash and be responsible for all company credit card purchases.- Monitoring / troubleshooting and liaising with employees on any payroll matters.- Managing and tracking vendor contract expiry dates / costs to ensure renewals are being processed and costs remain in-line with needs/ budget.- Updating and maintaining data system- Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and ensure theyre observed.- Managing inventory, including shipping and receiving and overseeing and controlling shipping and deliveries relating to staff.- Checking that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.About You...The Senior Administrator who comes into to this Office Manager role will need to be super-organised, have a great way with people and be good at building relationships. Heres some of the key experience youll need to demonstrate:- At least 2 years previous office management / senior administration experience.- Excellent communication and organisational skills as well as the ability to multitask.- Strong experience of using Microsoft Office apps including Word, Excel, and Outlook (including calendar functions).- A good understanding of business processes, operations, and organisational systems and structures.- A flexible approach, a driven attitude, and team-orientated working style.- The ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.- Strong work ethic and a proactive problem solver - a "no job too big or too small" attitude.- Professional and friendly attitude with a positive disposition. Being customer service orientated is a must.With the nature of the role, the expectation is youll be office based, Monday to Friday, to help ensure the smooth running of the office and be on-hand for any staff or facilities related support.Initially a 6month contract, however client is confident will go permanent for the right person.In addition to an attractive salary of up to £30k DOE, along with exciting future prospects.Call Emma on R email me your updated CV
