Job Description

Full Time - PermanentAre you looking for a new challenge The opportunity to join a Housing Association where you can develop and grow your own team, establish good practices and to better our service to our residentsIf so, this opportunity could be for you!Reporting to our Property Director, you will be responsible for the technical management of major and cyclical works projects, ensuring procurement, delivery, technical compliance and project governance.In return, we’ll provide a great office vibe which promotes collaboration, conversation and teamwork. Although there is a Region to cover, it is worth noting the travel is not excessive, it is to meet the business needs.About the role:As our Planned Works Manager, you will:

  • Effectively manage and develop the team, ensuring that services are delivered in a customer focussed way.
  • Develop and deliver the planned maintenance programme for the East region in line with the 30-year investment plan and Asset Management Strategy, ensuring all is delivered within agreed budgets and KIPs.
  • Write and review policies and procedures for planned, responsive and void management services.

  • HNC, HND or Degree level qualification in a building related subject
  • MRICS or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-year post qualification experience or equivalent
  • Proven successful project management and contract administration of planned, cyclical and major repair projects
  • Experience of managing works using term contracts
  • Good report and specification writing with experience of ISO9000 accreditation
  • IT competency in MS Excel and Word to immediate level
