Job Description

Data Scientist/BioinformaticianCambridge, UKCompany Overview:TEC Partners are working with one of the top Bio-technology start-ups in Cambridge, who are revolutionising cancer diagnostics and therapeutics, with the development of new sequencing and diagnostic tools.Role:You will play a key role in transforming detection and treatment of diseases with the development of new technologies powered by epigenetics- enabling advanced strategies for research into cause, early detection, precision medicine and patient monitoring.Key Skills required:

  • Extensive Programming experience in: R, Julia, Python (Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow etc) and Linux
  • Ability to produce clear and robust information to help support critical business decisions
  • Life Sciences background in bioinformatics, scientific data analysis, genomics and/or epigenomics.
    • With the addition of your expertise and innovation, you will not only revolutionise cancer diagnosis, but over time enable them to extend the application of their tools to other clinical modalities including dementia and inflammatory diseases.You will be joining a highly talented team of laboratory professionals and bioinformaticians, in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
