It is essential our successful candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills.This role will manage customer accounts through early identification of financial distress by pro-active customer contact.Key Responsibilities, but not limited to

  • Monitoring, reviewing and controlling arrears cases, positively and with empathy, in accordance with Society Policy and Procedures, Codes of Conduct and Regulation and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
  • By telephone and in writing, liaising with customers with mortgage arrears to develop a plan for dealing with their financial difficulties
  • Negotiating with the customer any forbearance strategies within the terms of the Society’s Policy and Procedures
  • Instructing and liaising with external Field Agents to conduct visits to the borrower to establish their circumstances, in order to come to an arrangement with the borrower for a sustainable resolution to their difficulties
  • Preparing documentation for the Society’s Solicitors to commence possession proceedings with a view to obtaining an Order from the Court or the instruction of an LPA Receiver
  • Working with the Arrears Manager, administering the possession and LPA portfolio, dealing on a day to day basis with our Asset Managers, LPA Receiver and Solicitor, to ensure the best customer and Society outcomes are achieved
  • Monitoring and recording the Maturing Interest-Only Mid Term Contact Strategy, including customer contact and testing the viability of their repayment strategy
  • Processing and management of mortgages subject to Payment Deferrals
