You can view our YouTube video to see more about our workJob descriptionThe ChallengeThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented Risk Manager to join a successful and dynamic team. The Risk Manager is a newly created post that sits within the Regional Support Team. This high profile and challenging role will provide a significant sense of achievement in supporting the delivery of complex multi-million-pound Facilities Management Contracts across the region. As a member of the Regional Support Team, you are required to contribute to the leadership and strategic management of the estate providing guidance to the DIO personnel. The Risk Manager has a critical role in developing the Risk and Performance processes under the Hard Facilities Management (HFM) contract which is due to be replaced in 2021. The Risk Manager will lead in developing the risk and performance framework for Regional Delivery, Scotland & Northern Ireland and thereafter maintaining. The Risk Manager will support the development of the Regional Delivery Risk and Performance Management strategy supporting colleagues across the region to ensure the organisation has a robust risk and performance regime. Post LocationThe post will be based at either Lisburn, Northern Ireland, Lossiemouth, Scotland, Beith, Scotland or Rosyth, Scotland. Work location to be agreed with the successful candidate.ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities• Lead the Risk Management activities in relation to the region’s Hard FM and Soft FM contracts. This will include ensuring readiness for the new Hard FM contract. • Support the Performance and Engagement Manager in the implementation of the Performance Management strategy for the new Hard FM contract. This will include the continued development of processes to support performance assessment and evaluation. • Responsible for leading risk management activities for the region including reporting, identification, mitigation and implementation of risk activities. • Lead the continued development, co-ordination and implementation of Regional Delivery, Scotland & Northern Ireland Risk and Issue Management strategy. • Drive continuous improvement across the region in relation to risk management, working in collaboration with colleagues to make sure the Risk and Issue Management strategy is visible across the region and actively engaging staff to deliver required outputs under a culture of continuous improvement. • Provide risk and performance training and guidance to the DIO personnel across the region • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues specifically the Corporate Risk and Compliance Team.BehavioursWell assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:
