Job Description

Highly organised and efficient, you will be a confident communicator, with the ability to coordinate bothcustomers and internal technical resources building relationships across multiple departments.Reporting to the Head of Projects, the postholder will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, as well as ad-hoc consultancy engagements, to Xperience customers. The role involves working with our sales and finance teams, project co-ordinator,engineers, consultants and architects to ensure successful delivery of project objectives. Integral to the role is the line management of the technical architects and engineers which are key to delivery success. The role will require some onsite meetings andsupport for customers on an ad-hoc basis.Responsibilities

  • End to end management of the project lifecycle including: project initiation, defining the project scope, objectives, user acceptance criteria and communication strategy; planning and resource booking; managing the project progress and communications withclients and resources; project closure and handover to support
  • Be the principal contact for the client on all project matters, ensuring responsiveness throughout
  • Line management for Lisburn based technical project team resources
  • Maintain, all project documentation, including risk, change and action logs
  • Contribute to management level reporting for the Director of Shared Services and the wider management team
  • Undertake quality checks for projects, recording the results
  • Liaise with sub-contractors or other third parties that form part of a project
  • Maintain the Xperience project management system - including ensuring that time used for projects/tasks is accurately recorded
  • Liaise with Finance and Sales teams to confirm invoice and delivery dates, ensuring invoices are released on time
  • Work with Technical colleagues to support Sales with developing statements of work, equipment lists and time estimates
Person SpecificationEssential:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery of projects
  • Confident in dealing with c-level executives and project stakeholders
  • Able to analyse potential problems and identify routes to resolution
  • Confident in recording, tracking and reporting on tasks, progress and challenges
  • Able to communicate exceptionally well with others, both internal and external
  • Able to manage time effectively and proficient at working across multiple active projects
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thinksmart and adapt quickly
  • Pro-active; identifying areas to improve and processes to introduce consistent results
  • Willing to travel to client sites across England for meetings
  • Permanent ability to live and work in the UK (unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas)
Desirable:
  • Experience in the delivery of IT projects
  • Professional IT Certifications
  • Prince II certification
  • Experience of using ConnectWise Manage
  • Previous experience of operating within an IT Managed Service Provider
  • Full UK driving licence
