Job Description

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a fantastic opportunity in Linwood Pertemps are currently seeking a dedicated Yard Operative to join our team. This role offers a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment, so if youre ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a thriving environment, we want to hear from you!Weekly PayRate of pay:£11.01 per hourWorking Hours:5 days over 71.30am - 9amThe job involves but is not limited to:

  • Vehicle Refuelling: Ensure vehicles are adequately fuelled and ready for daily operations.
  • Traffic Marshalling: Safely guide vehicles on the premises to maintain an organized flow.
  • Taking Deliveries: Receive and inspect incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies.
  • Vehicle Washing: Keep our fleet in top condition by washing and maintaining vehicles.
  • General Yard Duties: Assist in the smooth operation of the yard, including basic maintenance
  • tasks.
Ideal Candidate
  • A valid driving licence is essential.
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and regulations.
  • A proactive and responsible approach to refuelling and vehicle maintenance.
  • The ability to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the yard.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
