Job Description

DELIVERY DRIVERMenzies Distribution are looking for a Nightshift Delivery Driver to join our team. Youll be working on behalf ofMenzies Distribution Limitedand its customers. Providing a first class service with our team in Linwood, this role is basedon a basic 7 hour contract working Sunday only between 01.00 and 08.30Relevant COVID-19 precautions will be taken during the recruitment process for this roleLooking for a shift we havent mentioned Were happy to offer flexibility regarding shifts and hours wherever possible.Get in touch today to discuss how Menzies Distribution can work with you.DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES

  • Check the quality of packed orders
  • Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
  • Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
  • Ensure parcels are delivered to residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
  • Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
  • Complete all documentation as per company procedure
  • Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies
DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
  1. Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 4 years
  2. No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
  3. Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
  4. Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
  5. Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
  6. Undergo background check and alcohol & drug test prior to start date
