Care Support Worker (Personal Assistant) - Female (Driver)Location: Linwood, Renfrewshire, PA3 3DB.Salary: £9.30 per hour.Contract: Part time, 16 hours per week.Personal Assistants have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Jean has a busy lifestyle attending her day centre three times per week and enjoys days out shopping or attending social clubs with her staff team on her days off. Jean requires a female driver to support her within her team to maintain her busy lifestyle. Jean is wheelchair bound and relies on staff to support her with Personal Care, medication, finances and household tasks. Jean is determined to remain as independent as possible but needs some support and reassurance from staff. Jean requests all her staff team are drivers as she has her own car and loves to go out for drives with her staff each day.Jean likes routine and her support is structured around what she wants to do day to day. Shifts vary from 7.45am starts when Jean is able to attend her Day Centre and 10am on her days off as she enjoys a long lie. Day shifts and back shifts are required so full availability to work between 7.45am and 9.30pm is essential to any candidate who feels they would work well within Jeans team; examples of shifts are discussed below.Jean has a great sense of humour; she loves music and thrives off having staff members who encourage her to try new and exciting things. Jean is a busy lady during the day and enjoys relaxing at home in the evening when her social clubs are off.During these unprecedented times shared support has been essential to Jean, she shares support with her neighbour and so it is essential that staff are able to support her neighbour also. During the interview candidates will learn more about support requirements.Examples of shifts are as follows:day shift 7.45am-9.30am, 10am-3pm and 5pm-9.30pm. Split shifts sometimes are required when Jean is at her day Centre. Rotas are published on a four week basis.That is why Jean needs you!
