Job Description

OFFICE ADMINISTRATORMenzies Distribution are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team. Youll be providing general administrative and logistical support services for the overall efficient running of the depot. This position provides key information and supportto the management team and will involve collaboration with the Supervisor/Manager.Providing a first class service with our team in Linwood this role is based on working 24 hours per week over the following shifts:Tuesday 09.00 -13.00Wednesday 09.00-14.00Thursday 09.00- 1700Friday09.00- 1700Please note that we can be flexible with some of the shifts for the right candidateRelevant COVID-19 precautions will be taken during the recruitment process for this roleOffice Administrator Duties:

  • Provide support to Leadership Team, Operations, Health & Safety, Transport, and HR & Payroll where necessary
  • Ensure daily office procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Assist as required with all routine administrative duties within the branch and undertake additional duties as required
  • Process Purchase Ordering on behalf of site, dealing with invoice queries and sorting any discrepancies
  • Manage the site diary in relation to management meetings, client meetings and organise lunches, conference calls and IT requirements
  • Manage relationships and liaise directly with the companys vendors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Manage the site diary to ensure all contracts are up to date and relevant for requirements in terms of vending machines, property and facility maintenance
  • Acting as host for team members when they visit the office
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
  • Ordering stationery and supplies
  • Arrange for repairs on the site, special requests, and routine maintenance
Office Administrator Requirements:
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly words processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Purchase Order Experience is essential
