SEN Teaching Assistant - Challenging BehavioursWe are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at our school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with students with challenging behaviours and special educational needs.Key responsibilities: Assist teachers in the delivery of the curriculum, including lesson planning and preparation Work one-on-one with students or in small groups to support their learning and development Help students with challenging behaviours to manage their behaviour and stay on track in class Implement behaviour management strategies and work with students to develop positive behaviours Communicate with parents, teachers, and other members of the education team to ensure that students receive the best possible support Keep accurate records and make observations to help teachers monitor and evaluate student progressQualifications and experience: A relevant qualification in SEN teaching or a related field Extensive experience working with students with challenging behaviours and special educational needs Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are passionate about helping students with challenging behaviours and believe that you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you.
