Job Description

Machine Minder/ Facilities Assistant £20,000 - £22,000 per annumMonday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.25pmManufacturing company based near Haverhill, SuffolkMain Duties:

  • Responsible, along with Operations Manager for setting up/changing tooling on production equipment & machinery to the QC standard required.
  • To ensure machinery is in good working order & to learn about all the machines & what to do in the event of a machine breaking down.
  • Assisting with the setting up and maintain standards at all times leading by example continually striving for improvement.
  • Ensuring any machines that are not in use are clean / covered thoroughly and efficiently (where required) and ready for use in the next run, including the day code on the coders must be clear and correct. Carrying out regular maintenance and cleaning of machines. Assisting with making sure all records are kept up to date.
  • To work on the production lines when required.
    • Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience within a similar manufacturing role essential
  • Some mechanical / machinery knowledge preferred
  • Own transport required due to location
