Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in educationZest Education is currently recruiting for a Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school based in Lichfield.The primary school has a strong commitment to excellence, placing children at the heart of everything they do. Therefore, the ideal candidateshould have excellent communication skills and be able to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.As a Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to students. The school is seeking an individual who possesses strong behaviour management skills and can maintain highstandards and progress in all subjects, with a particular focus on English and Maths. The working days are yet to be decided.Responsibilities:- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons- Supervise students during class activities and outings- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively- Track student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacherRequirements:- Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 5/6 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths- Excellent behaviour management skills- Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships- Good communication and teamwork skillsIf you are passionate about education and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners, then we would love to hear from you.
