Our values of Inspired to Innovate, Always Respectful, Fully Accountable and Delivering Delight are embedded into our culture which puts people at the heart of everythingwe do.We have a strong culture that puts colleague wellbeing first and believe that developing and engaging with our colleagues is fundamental to ensure we provide an industry leading service to our partners and our customers.AX Motor AssistAt the end of 2021 we launched our incident management service, AX Motor Assist.Supporting fleet and leasing companies and their customers, as well as commercial and private-lines insurance brokers and their clients, franchise dealer groups and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), AX Motor Assist is a technology-driven, end-to-endclaims management servicefrom First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through to vehicle repair and completion of the claim AX Motor Assist will support fleets and their drivers through every step by arranging roadside recovery when required, organising replacementmobility, minimising vehicle downtime.AX also offers extensive value-added services and solutions that will help protect fleets and reduce risk, such as DVLA licence checks, web-based driver risk assessments and in-vehicle driver safety training.For fleet management companies and insurance brokers, it takes away the time-consuming process of incident management to allow them to focus on customer service levels, client retention and core business activities.Role PurposeIn this new role of Motor Assist Business Development Manager, you will be focused on expanding Motor Assist sales from Corporate Fleets, Contract Hire and Leasing Companies, Commercial Insurance Brokers and associated markets.You will be responsible for introducing Motor Assist core services to existing Fleet Customers whilst also developing a pipeline of new business sales opportunities across the fleet sector. This role presents a superb opportunity to bring a product to our customerswhich is both industry-leading and disruptive in its breadth and scope.This role will see you:

• Proactively seek, own, and drive new opportunities for AX Motor Assist in the fleet sector with both new and existing clients
• Develop and maintain a constantly evolving pipeline of new business opportunities
• Delivering a key role within the Motor Assist team, driving market leading motor claims product offerings.
• Playing a positive and key role in the integration of Motor Assist and AX Innovation technology solutions and products
• Building a firm understanding of AXs strategic and competitive position in the target markets; working with project/product, operational, sales & marketing teams and customers to define and deliver best in class, sustainable and competitive motor claimsproducts
• Analysing client data, spotting trends and making pro-active suggestions to improve experience and losses, that will drive sales activity

Our Motor Assist Business Development Manager will bring the following skills, behaviours, and experiences to our team:

• Demonstrable experience of working within the Motor Claims industry across product ownership & technical sales
• Expert knowledge of accident management processes and KPIs
• In-depth understanding of the complex supply chain that is required to deliver an end-to-end motor claims service that will encompass fast developing technology
• An understanding of evolving technology within the motor claims industryInsuretech, Telematics (Crash Detection), Fleet Management etc
• Existing relationships within the Fleet and contract hire Leasing sector
• A problem solver with a positive mindset
• A commercially astute creative thinker with the ability to help shape the future of the product and grow the business
• Adaptable, tenacious self-starter who is self-motivated, results orientated and proactive in approach
• Has a commitment to over achievement and a positive attitude
• Experience in designing and delivering corporate presentations
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to look at the bigger picture and understand the impact a course of action can have both in the short term and long term
