Our client are looking for a travel professional to join our Scottish team providing ground handling services for groups travelling throughout the UK & Ireland£24k - £26kKey Skills Required:-* Fluency in French but we would consider another language such as Italian, Spanish, Scandinavian etc* Minimum of 1 years experience with a tour operator or similar service provider such as hotel receptions/sales, booking agency or similar. Or a degree in tourism* Excellent knowledge of Scotland as a destination and its tourism products* Ability to work as part of a team and independently* Confident ability on computers for operations software and research* The ability to multi-task, be level-headed and full of enthusiasm* Excellent written and spoken EnglishSummary of Role:-* To operate confirmed groups booking services, sending rooming lists, through to group departure* To build and maintain a great working relationship with your clients & suppliers* To improve and update your product knowledge* To assume responsibility for your clients pending and confirmed groups* To operate your groups from confirmation through to final invoicing, calculating technical timings and all logistic aspects.* Attend familiarisation trips, trade fairs and meetings as directed.We will provide a complete breakdown of the role together with salary, benefits, etc at the interview stage.This is a full time, permanent position for someone looking to join a dynamic team.
