They are dedicated to the personal and professional development of their employees and offer a competitive rewards andbenefit packages.They are looking for solar technician to join the Operation & Maintenance team, carrying out tasks on utility-scale solar plants with outputs of 5 MW and above (25 acres and above). Sites will be based in the Bristol area. What you will get in return as a Solar Technician:* 1.5x overtime * Door to Door payment* Company Van and fuel card * Laptop and phone * Private health care Responsibilities of the Solar Technician:* Inspection, testing and maintenance of PV modules, dc strings and inverters* Undertake ac and dc testing, troubleshooting and fault-finding* Perform reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution promptly* Troubleshoot and repairs on sensors and communication equipment including rs485,* Ethernet and fibre optic networks* Perform inductions for sub-contractors and supervising their work* Keep in close communication with the O&M office* Induct and manage sub-contractors, ensure their safe working, and undertake quality checks on their work Criteria for the Solar Technician * DC installation* DC fault finding, testing, and commissioning* LV installation* LV fault finding, testing, and commissioning* Full UK driving licence* 18th Edition* Experience working on installation and maintenance of solar panels* Right to work in the UK without a VISAIf you are a solar technician and you would like to apply, please get in touch, or send your C.V and we will contact you.
