Job Description

Macildowie are working with an Industrial Automation company based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative.The role:

  • Provide internal support to the field sales engineers when they are in the office and out visiting customers
  • Act as a second point of contact to the customers in support of the Sales Engineers activity
  • Support the business area customers with quotations & technical data using appropriate communication channels (letter, telephone, email, etc.)
  • First response to incoming phone calls into the business area
  • Promptly respond to and follow up all incoming sales enquiries
  • Evaluate all incoming sales enquiries and research the companies to decide if salesman follow up is necessary
  • Proactively research the market to find new potential customers, make initial contact, evaluate & pass on to sales engineers to follow up
  • Provide additional support to the product team as needed
  • Continuously update and maintain the company CRM system as required with new customers, leads, activity, opportunities etc.
  • Support marketing activities where required
  • Answer some technical queries for customers
The candidate:
  • Experience of working in a sales or telesales role
  • Confident and clear communicator
  • Team player
  • Confident with dealing with customer over the phone
  • KPI and target orientated
