Job Description

You have the opportunity to join a leading business who are looking for an Interim QHSE Lead to join their site in the Leicestershire area. You will be acting managing the QMS to ensure compliance to ISO9001, 14001, 45001 & 13485, as well as leading audits.Client DetailsThis leading business have multiple sites across the UK that support multiple different industries. This Leicestershire site provides a broad product range to a varied customer base.DescriptionAs the Interim QHSE Lead you will be responsible for managing the QMS to ensure compliance to ISO 9001,14001, 45001 & 13485 & leading audits. You will be supporting the senior management team in implementing robust management systems & proactive:Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and communicate the HSEQ Management System, supporting functional teams in developing subject specific processes aligned to the overall Quality Management System Framework.
  • Oversee audit of the quality system & carry out independent audits.
  • Maintain and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, to be aware of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
  • Manage the supplier monitoring programme based on a risk-based approach, complete initial and continuous assessments of suppliers/subcontractors and conduct audits to verify their competence.
  • Assist with CAPA investigations of critical/significant incidents to ensure the true root cause is identified and robust corrective and preventive actions are implemented where relevant across the business.
  • Support initiatives to drive continuous improvement and achieve excellence throughout our operations.
  • Apply change management principles to projects, new business implementations and significant changes at a group level to ensure changes are implemented in a controlled manner and risk management principles are applied.
  • Maintain oversight of customer satisfaction and feedback levels and proactively work with the relevant teams when negative trends are identified to ensure that service levels and customer retention is sustained.
ProfileA Quality/QHSE professional, with experience in a varied QMS in a manufacturing or distribution s environment, available to start a role at short notice. The successful applicant will also have:
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated Management systems
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 & 13485 regulations
  • Internal audit capability
  • Ideally Lead Auditor trained
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as an individual & as part of a team
