Job Description

Job Title: Installation Technician/Engineer (Ref: 20487)Location: Leicestershire & Loughborough + UK Travel Salary: £26k - £35kJob Type: Full Time / Permanent The RoleI am currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent practical skills to coordinate and carry out the installation of fitness equipment.The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assemblies and must be highly organised with great attention to detail and a passion for life.You should be able to work well under pressure and have the capabilities to carry out projects from initiation to completing in the following areas:

  • Installation of fitness equipment
  • Installation and fitting of specialised gym flooring
  • Servicing and repair of fitness equipment
  • Assisting in the production of flooring products and assemblies
  • Collection and delivery of materials and products
  • Working with power tools and hand tools
  • Assisting with sanding and spray painting
  • Working with adhesives, solvents and other hazardous products
  • Packaging of flooring and fitness equipment
  • Maintaining up to date stock of all products in the store and factory
  • Work to tight deadlines and to complete projects on time
  • Ensuring appropriate Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Installations may require travel and layovers throughout the UK and abroad
  • Continuously develop and promote the companys brand
The Candidate
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering and mechanical assemblies
  • Excellent practical skills and handyman skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience with utilising hand and power tools
  • A positive team player and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Hard working and able to work to a deadline
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Able to meet physical demands.
  • Clean driving license and valid UK (or EU) Passport
