Job Description

Macildowie Finance are currently recruiting a fantastic Financial Controller position working for an award winning medium sized business based in Leicestershire. The role will play an active part in the Senior Management Team of this growth focused, highly successful and well established business, reporting directly to the Finance Director and supporting stakeholders from across the business. If you are a Qualified Finance leader with a background in driving process improvements and supporting key decisions at a senior level then this role will be great for you!You will be responsible for the coaching, development and leadership of a large finance team driving a more timely and accurate reporting process.Playing an active role in the Senior Management Team of the business, working with Heads of Functions to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies. It is vital that you have some system implementation experience as you will play a key part in the finance system implementation over the course of the next 12-18 months. Oversee all financial and management reporting for both the UK Business and international subsidiaries.Tight management of the cash flow, as well as cash planning. Manage relationships with 3rd party bodies including Auditors, Banking providers and HMRC. To be considered for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience of operating in a Manager/Controller position within a privately owned SME business. You must be proficient with all Microsoft programs in particular Excel up to Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs level.
