Job Description

Search Consultancy is proud to have partnered with a large multi-national Blue chip organisation who are looking for a Finance Retail Operations Team Leader.In this role you and your team will have responsibility of managing all the day to day operational functions and queries relating to, or originating from Retail Store Stock & Banking Operations. As well as this, youll also be involved in the coordinationof key business projects across multiple business areas, building and maintaining effective internal Stakeholder and 3rd party relationships as well as having the opportunity to identify and improve procedures, processes and controls, assisting with the evolutionand automation needs of the finance function.Your team will consist of 3 Finance Coordinators in the UK and 2 in Pune therefore we are looking for someone who is an excellent people manager within an operational environment as well as someone who has good stakeholder management experience (internaland external). You must also have the ability to problem solve and prioritise customer impact and financial controls and youll be able to work with both business and technical teams to deliver BAU and changes, internally and externally. It would be reallyhelpful if you have some knowledge of payment system technologies, processes and suppliers (e.g. Internal and external payment gateways) and ideally are driven to influence, lead and bring new ideas to the table.Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day supervision of Finance Operations support team
  • Management of the 3rd party relationships according to SLAs, in order to ensure the best possible service to our customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain/implement operational processes for retail stores around stock and banking processes to ensure adherence to Financial controls at all times.
  • Working with Field team Management to ensure FCA compliance around retail brokerage activities.
  • Key retail event coordination including sale, stocktake and recall.
  • Minimising retail cash loss/risk through effective management of CIT collections and cash losses.
About you:
  • The ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, coupled with the ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the business.
  • Experience in coaching, influencing and developing people.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Be an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • The willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Excel) suite of products, Google Gsuite is desirable
  • SQL & Microsoft SSMS is highly desirable but not essential
