Job Description

Temporary Credit ControllerLocation: Near Castle DonningtonDuration: Up to 9 monthsHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekWork Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)Weekly Schedule: Alternating between 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm, with a 30-minute lunch breakSalary: £12.50 - £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)Reporting to: Credit Control Team LeaderWe are currently seeking a skilled Temporary Credit Controller to join a team based near Castle Donnington. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years experience in Credit Control to contribute to their dynamic financedepartment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter within agreed timescales
  • Allocate payments in accordance with customer remittances
  • Process and generate reminder letters and monthly statements
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve outstanding queries
  • Ensure all transactions are compliant with company policies and procedures
  • Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within Credit Control
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Transferable knowledge of accounting software is advantageous
Work Arrangement:This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days spent in the office and 3 days working remotely from home.
