This is a fantastic opportunity tojoin a dynamic Finance team supporting the Next business. Located within ourLeicestershire Head Office, within our Cash Management team. Next is a dynamic and fast growingbusiness, to succeed in this role you must be happy in a fast-moving, fluid,ever-changing environment. You will need a mixture of solid financial andmanagement accounting skills, coupled with financial analysis to maintain corefinancial controls, support key stakeholders and business initiatives.You are ideally someone who thinksabout the impact on the customer and wider business - a person that above all,values the need for procedure, control and auditability. About the role:A broad role which will encompassa wide range of financial and operational dutiesEnsure all Debtor and Cashmovements are correctly accounted forMaintain control over VAT recordsand routinely review in light of new projectsIdentification and evaluation ofFX chargesBudgeting and forecasting bothP&L and Balance Sheet impactsResponsible for the investigationinto both P&L and Balance Sheet variancesLiaison with external auditors toensure a smooth and efficient audit processProvide Ad Hoc analysis asrequired to support business initiatives or payment incidentresolutionMentorand support a part qualified accountant and our extended team in IndiaSupport project delivery and postimplementation analysisCriteriaWhat we are lookingfor: A pro-active and hands onQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven experience in a largecompany, working cross functionally with proven ability to deliver to strictdeadlinesThe ability to work productively,efficiently and effectively, maintaining attention to detail andqualityExcellent planning &organisation skillsDemonstrates self motivation andthe ability to work on your own initiative and is confident in makingdecisionsExcellent written and verbalskills, coupled with the ability to comfortably present to alllevelsStrong influencing andnegotiation skillsThe willingness to learn, improveand adapt to changing business needsStrong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think outside the boxExceptional working knowledge ofMS Office (esp.
