Its a view thats sharedby our 10,000+ colleagues around the country, who trust us to provide them with a career thats always rewarding, often challenging, but never dull.That is why were the UKs No. 1 choice for business waste management.Biffa Leicester is currently looking for a Weighbridge Clerk to be based at our Leicester Ball Mill site.The role is shift based with a specified shift pattern as follows:Ball Mill:08:00 - 17:00 Mon to Fri - 45 hours a week.A quick look at the role.The role holder will be responsible for the operation of the computerised weighbridge and providing administrative support for other members of the team as well as general administrative duties.Applicants must be computer literate and appreciate the need for accurate VDU input in addition to having the flexibility and ability to work as part of a small team.The role holder will drive best practice on a daily basis through high compliance and H&S standards.Why its an opportunity not to be wasted.

  • To ensure the Weighbridge activities are conducted in a professional and legal manner & in line with the Companies policies and procedures.
  • Ensure health and safety of all the staff on site with a target of zero accidents & LTIs.
  • Produce dashboards and KPIs as requested by the Management team.
  • Adherence to Club Zero.
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately.
  • Responsible for all deliveries to site and inducting new visitors.
