Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the site, delivery of outstanding teamperformance and operational excellence. You will champion the vision of the company, develop our people, and delight our clients whilst contributing to our exciting high-scale growth strategy.We love a challenge and make it happen through our team culture and strong work ethic.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence Strategically manage the warehouse in accordance with the Companys policies and visions, ensuring the department develops in line with business needs. Calculate, plan, and recommend future capacity requirements using appropriate systems and methodologies. Ensure the team adhere to all warehouse, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Deliver warehouse projects from briefing and planning services through to execution and reporting. Proactively support project teams in planning and delivering client projects/programs. Manage warehouse project/program completion to compliance (on time & accuracy). Implement and update stakeholders on warehouse developments and initiatives.People Leadership Demonstrate and encourage company values and behaviours. Support the People lifecycle management from recruiting, developing and retaining. Promote and professional and positive one team environment. Quality review team and individual performance in line with objectives. Train and develop team members to fulfil role requirements. Embed a learning culture through sharing knowledge and expertise. Enhance performance through coaching and L&D initiatives. Encourage and promote health and wellbeing initiatives. Continually review; team structure, resources and working practices. Work to support ongoing customer retention and development.What youll need: At least 2 years of warehouse management experience. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices. Understanding of warehouse operations i.e. kitting, pick and pack. Warehousing qualifications/certifications. Implementation of procedures and best practices. Performance monitoring of warehouse KPIs. Growth & continuous improvement mindset. Positive, motivated and driven to deliver results through people. Have a solutions focused, can do attitude. Ability to develop, lead and inspire a high performing team. Proven experience in leadership and coaching. A team player and willingness to get stuck in. Experience of people/ HR policies and processes. Driven to meet deadlines in line with compliance. Customer centric attitude. Proactive approach to getting things done.
