Job Description

Waiters / WaitressBlack Iron Social based at The Gresham is the next new and very exciting venue opening in town. Following on from the success of the Black Iron Restuarant that we opened a few years ago we are now opening an intown venue with all the good things that wehave learnt along the way.We will be offering the best food, drink and cocktails in a very up market and stylish venue.We are looking for new people to join our teams who have great personalities, a good work ethic with excellent customer service and a can do attitude.As Senior Waiter / Waitress you will:

  • You can organise your own workload and the teams workload, with great prioritising in mind
  • You create job lists efficiently and you set out sensible time frames for accomplishing them
  • You have a natural sense of looking after the bigger picture while being observant with attention to the small detail making that picture
  • You have a sharp eye for display, presentation and cleanliness standards
  • You demonstrate highly efficient and positive communication skills
  • You show creativity to find solutions and innovative ideas
  • You achieve targets and drive sales
  • You build a good rapport with local groups and businesses, spotting marketing opportunities
