Search are recruiting for a Customer Services Advisor for a fantastic Logistics company in Leicestershire. This is a great role for an experienced customer services professional with experience gained form the logistics industry. Hours MONDAY - FRIDAY: 10:30 - 19:30 (1 Hour Lunch Break)Key Duties and Responsibilities:Performance· Plan resources efficiently· Identifying areas of development and prioritising the workload accordingly· Manage processes & proceduresLogistics· Compliance & legislation· Enhance efficiencies· Enhance relationships with key partners· To arrange any driver holiday cover· Manage company systems to measure performance I.e. Tachomaster, Verilocation and TMSBusiness development & Customer Service· Supporting new projects and opportunities· Customer retention, promote business to our customers & prospects· Deal and action all customer questions· Deal with all Pall Ex calls in a professional and helpful manner· Create and make sure the Service Delivery Monitor report is actioned daily· Deal and action all Pall Ex depot issues· Deal with all Pall Ex customer queries· Enhance relationships with customers· Deal with all network issues direct with Pall Ex, escalate to the depot principle if needed· Monitor response time to customer requests and queries· Contact all customers to request volumes to arrange the collections in a cost-effective manner· Arrange all customer and third party collections within time linesManagement of the health and safety· Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures when partaking in any working duties that require a specific Safe System of Work· Reporting all incidents· Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, the company handbook, quality standards and all other company policies and proceduresOther duties:· Check all handovers and action any points· A weekly check on all un-invoiced and action any consignments outstanding· Check daily that all customers have transmitted via the customers online portal· Complete the daily customers collection sheet· Ensure all multi pallets and Saturday deliveries are manifested within the time window· Print off and land to de-brief, any labels the drivers require on their return· Give to debrief a daily list of collections· Arrange all Irish collections and deliver to the Irish sub contractor· Change all Irish freight to own jobs and allocate the consignments on the TMS to the Irish sub contractor· Sent the Irish sub contract the correct PO orders· Allocate all collections on the TMS· Manifest all freight being sent to Pallex· Ensuring any Pallex freight pulled for general haulage is changed to own job and the rates updated on the consignment· Deal with any driver delivery issues and report to originating depot· Add notes to every job, that may have a problem on to TMS· Ensure there are no deliveries for the current date outstanding· Make sure all revenue change requests are actions with the time windows· Follow the correct procedure for all missing freight· Check all AM and timed deliveries are on schedule· Send a daily handover with any potential issue that may need to be actionedSalary: £22,000.00 per yearSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
