Job Description

**Join The Team as a Trade Operative (Electrics) in Leicestershire**Are you anexperienced electricianwith a passion for quality workmanshipLook no further! We’re recruiting for aTrade Operative (Electrics)on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading public sector organisation based in Leicestershire.What You’ll Do:

  • Undertake a diverse range ofrepairs and maintenance taskswithin your core trade, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Assess repair and maintenance needs, taking swift action to rectify issues.
  • Efficiently manage parts and equipment stock on your vehicle to streamline work completion.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices and trainees.
  • Communicate seamlessly with service customers, minimising inconvenience during repair and refurbishment work.
  • Organise resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient repairs and waste removal.
Your Qualifications:
  • Hold the2391 or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience in electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Comfortably navigateoccupied domestic properties, interacting with residents (including vulnerable individuals).
  • Proficiently maintain installations, diagnosing and rectifying faults.
  • Certified inCity and Guilds 2382:2018 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations).
  • Skilled in inspecting, testing, and certifying electrical installations perBS 7671.
  • NVQ Level 3qualification in electrician installation or equivalent industry certification.
  • Possess afull UK driving license.
  • ACSCS cardwould be desirable.
