Currently working as a Supply Chain Data Analyst but feel like your work isnt creating the impact you hoped it would Maybe you feel like there isnt enough change and you want to do more as a Supply Chain Data AnalystIf so, why not apply for City Plumbings latest Supply Chain Data Analyst role, supporting our evolving Supply team.After recently becoming a stand-alone business, were now looking to implement the best Supply Chain technology within our business, and your work as our brand new Supply Chain Data Analyst will be vital in influencing this change and transformation!Like the sound of this challenge Read on to find out more about our latest Supply Chain Data Analyst role.The Role:If you havent already heard, City Plumbing is growing and growing quickly!Weve recently been acquired by a Private Equity firm who have committed to transforming us online and in branch!This has allowed us to reevaluate how we operate our Supply Chain and transform the way we deliver products to our customers, taking the best Supply Chain practices from other industries and implementing them in our business.To this end, were now looking to recruit a Supply Chain Data Analyst to provide insightful analytics and reporting to influence our Supply Chain evolution and to drive improvements across Service and Cost.As our Supply Chain Data Analyst, youll be using our data lake and spreadsheets to present information to people within the Supply team, as well as other relevant areas of the business.Youll be joining a great team - we take huge pride in creating an inclusive workplace that celebrates and values diversity, and are well known for developing talent that progresses throughout our business!Areas of focus will include:

  • Creating analytics to develop what if scenarios for optimising system parameters and process inefficiencies.
  • Build upon high quality automated reports with dashboard, drilling down capability where appropriate.
  • Using appropriate communication to support effective decision making and to ensure reporting is fit for purpose and value adding.
  • Develop technical skills and knowledge while adopting best practice to identify and deliver innovative improvements in reporting.
  • Designing and build planning scenario analysis tools to support S&OP and warehouse capacity planning process.
This is a remote-based and youll have true flexibility to work from home and the office. Our head office in Crick, Northamptonshire, and you should expect to be office roughly once a week.This means you could be based in Banbury, Bedford, Berkhamsted, Birmingham, Cambridge, Corby, Coventry, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Hinckley, Hitchin, Huntingdon, Kettering, Leamington Spa, Leicester, Leamington Spa, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Luton, MarketHarborough, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Northampton, Nuneaton, Oundle, Oxford, Peterborough, Rugby, Rushden, St Albans, Stevenage, Tamworth, Welwyn Garden City, Worcester, as well as Crick itself.You:Youll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an analytical and logical approach to problem-solving. Youll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Supply Chain team and youll thrive on delivering excellent results.Required skills and competencies:
  • Experience as a MI / Data Analyst, analysing and interpreting complex data sets, translating these into customer friendly reports and tools for making strategic decisions
  • Competent in Cloud Big Data / SQL, Spreadsheets & BI Dashboarding.
  • Logical and methodical approach to work.
  • A drive and desire to push forward and deliver excellence within your work.
  • Able to communicate with a range of people in a clear and informative way that allows the listener to understand the benefit and the solution.
