Job Description

Our client, a leading freight forwarder is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.Job Purpose:Maintain the core objective of providing quality, efficient and effective services to the highest standards of excellence and at the most cost effective level of expenditure to our customer. A good all-rounder who is experienced in all modes of transport, has excellent knowledge and work experience but is willing to receive training in to provide support to the Customer Export / Import Operation.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain liaison with the Customer and ensure a high level of customer service interface and achievement of continuous service improvements.
  • Maintain liaison with all operational and support departments.
  • Work in harmony with our internal and external client to deliver the very highest levels of customer support and service.
  • Verify export/import shipping documentation for accuracy , ensuring compliance for the customs entries
  • Ensure all enquiries and other communications are actioned promptly and efficiently.
  • Administer Standard Operating Procedures as defined by the client and Bolloré in support of the Branch Supervisor.
  • Ensure installed systems are operated to precise operational and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all pre-requisite legislation.
    • Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Export Logisitics knowledge preferred
  • Excellent ICT skills to include Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills
  • Accurate, methodical and with the ability for attention to detail
  • Friendly, calm and professional manner
  • Ability to handle pressure and good time-management skills
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivated
  • Ability to interact with client representatives at all levels
  • Ability to grasp procedures/processes quickly.
