Job Description

Service Sales Support £28,000 - £35,000 + OTERemote with travel to clients’ sites PermanentAre you currently working within a service desk environment and itching to be on the road seeing clients face to face, well Sue Hill Recruitment are excited to be working alongside this established medical equipment sales company trusted by healthcare professionalsaround the world. Most of the company’s portfolio of products are manufactured in the UK. With other products they distribute being selected to match their high standard of quality, functionality, and service.Our client is currently seeking a customer focused and sales motivated Service Sales Support Administrator, to look after the after sales service to their existing clients and grow business share. With a view to develop to a grow and develop within the company.Responsible for the admin support of their sales function for the repair, breakdown and maintenance of our range of capital medical equipment in the Operating Theatre, Critical Care and Urgent Care environments.Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Mining Project asset info
  • Following up issued quotations and proactively re-issuing when validity lapsed.
  • Processing of customer Purchase orders
  • Providing cover for service sale in absence or annual leave
  • Maintaining sales records and pipeline documentation
  • Generating maintenance quotations, ensuring they are checked, approved prior to sending.
  • Escalating urgent failure of products
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Procurement, Estates, EBME, Capital Project Managers etc.
  • Find new sales leads though direct contact (telephone or other means) with the potential customers and other project stakeholders.
  • Follow up & log new leads, act upon any leads provided by the company promptly and expediently.
  • Seek to maximise the number and range of products supplied on each project, engaging capital sales wherever possible.
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner.
  • Arrange for presentations and reference site visits for the customers as applicable.
  • Liaise and work closely with other departments especially, Capital Sales.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of key discussions and negotiations with customers.
  • Developing strategies, business plan for increasing opportunities, building new & existing accounts & increasing market share.
  • Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service - anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly
Key competencies
  • Strong face to face customer service & telephone support experience
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel
  • Ability to work on your own and part of a team and across departments.
  • Positive can-do’ attitude & work autonomously taking initiative to our support customers.
  • Ability to read technical reports (Specific product training will be given)
