Job Description

. Are you experienced in Payroll and would be interested in working as a Senior Payroll Administrator in a shared service function of 70 people based in Leicester, working from home 1 day per week after the end of the training period Whats in it for you:Salary: £ 28,000 (reviewed after probationary period)Working from home : 1 day per week ( After completion of the probationary period)Hours : 9:00 - 5:30About the role:The Senior Payroll Administrator will be expected to ensure the accurate processing of wages, salaries and other forms of compensation across their allocated payroll site. They will be responsible for maintaining a proactive and positive working relationshipwith their key customers on their allocated payroll sites and ensuring that queries are answered on a timely basis.The Key Responsibilities/Tasks:To ensure specific tasks are processed according to Team Leader instructions and direction:

  • Monthly Payroll Runs
  • Holidays, Sickness and Other Absences
  • Queries
  • Pension
  • Payroll Admin tasks
Skills, experience and capabilities requiredQualifications and experienceEssential:
  • Previous experience of payroll administration required
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills - experience working with and providing a service to internal and external customers
  • Strong IT Skills - Confident user of Microsoft packages, including word, outlook powerpoint. Strong excel skills is essential (V-look ups and Pivot tables)
  • Payroll Qualification / 2 years payroll experience working within Payroll Office.
