An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Partnerships Unit based within the University’s International Directorate. De Montfort University (DMU) is an ambitious and thriving institution located within the historical and cosmopolitan city ofLeicester. Our state of the art Campus is host to a diverse body of nearly 30,000 students , including many from international backgrounds. A growing number of students also study at our overseas partner sites as part of the university’s commitment to internationalisationand development of our TransNational Education (TNE) agenda.Faculty / DirectorateThe International Directorate leads on two distinct functions: TransNational Education (TNE) delivered by the Global Partnerships Unit (GPU) and International Student Recruitment, led by the International Office.Internationalisation is a key component of DMU’s growth plans and the University has in place an ambitious strategy to support the next phase of our development on TransNational Education (TNE) Partnerships. The time to join the International Directorateand contribute to our ambitious and exciting goals has never been better.RoleThe Senior Partnerships Officer will have a pivotal role in supporting the management and development of the University’s Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships in accordance with the University’s TNE Strategy.You will account manage a portfolio of collaborative partners, with particular emphasis on DMU campus operations, working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the quality and standards of provision is maintained and enhanced.You will also be responsible for supporting the development and growth of TNE student mobility including the Summer School provision, progression and other initiatives that contribute to the achievement of University mobility targets as they relate to TNEstudent experience.Ideal Candidate Educated to degree level, this role would suit a highly motivated self-starter with experience in the operation of international partnerships and contributing to improving the student experience though the development of mobility opportunities. You willhave excellent organisational skills and the ability to drive new developments and communicate in a variety of ways to a range of audiences. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationshipswith internal and external stakeholders at all levels in an often pressured, high profile and commercial environment. You will be required to undertake some overseas travel.
